Less than 7 weeks til Christmas…

The countdown to Christmas has begun, the clocks have gone back, the bonfires have been burnt and in clear sight is Christmas. The weather has suddenly become a lot colder, having to defrost the car this morning was an insight into what can be expected as a daily chore for the coming weeks. However with all the tedious shopping and car-scraping that is done at this time of the year, we musn’t forget that without the brave war heroes who fought for our country we wouldn’t be celebrating Christmas in the same way.
So with the run-up to Christmas in full stride, it was nice yesterday to have that silent respect for those that fought and died for us so many years ago.
